Chamelions not opening??

I have noticed the last week my chamellion PE's are all not opening. The seem like there stems are also slightly shrinking. I dip everything that comes into my tank, but these have looked good for months now. Any suggestions on what to do??

I saw a little white slime on one of them, I do not know how to post pics. The 8X camera is too much for downloading pics.

some polyps will slough off thin layers of tissue...I have had some do that and then come back from it. Just try to keep the water quality high and make sure algae doesn't grow on top of them...

I gave them an Ro and Iodine dip, and moved them to another spot. I will see what happens.
