Ordered a pair of yasha gobies and pistol shrimp from liveaquaria, delivered Jan 21. Since then I have only seen a few glimpses of the shrimp and not the gobies. There is a cave that the shrimp dug right under a rock in the front of the tank that I'm hoping the gobies have been hiding in but what is the likelyhood they would not come out (that I've seen) for this long? Tank has a screen top with a cutout for an auto feeder that they could potentially have jumped out of but have not found any evidence of that. Other tank inhabitants are two clowns and a royal gramma. Tank is a reefer 250

When I had a yasha goby he hid for about 6 months. When I saw him I was shocked. This was in a 90 gallon tank with minimal rock work. The tank was setup in such a way that you can't see all the way around the tank. He had taken up residence in a spot that just wasn't viewable and one day decided to move to a new den.
