hi all
I hope I'm in the right forum I need to change out the Tunze pump with a pump that will fit my water container that has a hookup up line on top. So I need a pump that will have a intake that will take a hose and a output that will take a hose and will work with the rest of the Tunze
Hope I am explaining it
Thanks

I did not get what you asked at first. I think you wanted to change the internal pump to an external pump correct? If that is the case, I would think the BRS 50ml pump to be a good candidate...depending on how big your tank is. I would use the osmolator switched socket outlet that ChukeeR pointed out and use the BRS pump with that.

I am using the BRS 50ml with Apex and float switches for my ATO. my tank is 85 gallon with 40 gallon sump..about 80 gallons of water and I run about 5 gallon of fresh water a week

No it works fine. But my water reservoir has a cover then has a connection for a hose with a tube running down into the reservoir. I would rather have that than it open with the cable and hose going into it. Very similar to the Eshopps reservoir shown here

Thanks
I believe you would need this if you want to run a different pump with a Tunze ATO --- http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/tunze...&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=switch_socket

The details say its for the 3155 though...So may not work in your situation.

Nothing fancy here ( yet) I have a JBJ 45 gallon will be adding a sump later on but one of things I'm starting with is a ATO
Will look at the BRS pump
Thanks
I may just go ahead and buy another ATO ( I knew I should have waited until the reservoir came in
