If this thread saves someone else it will have served its purpose. I let the changing of my BRS dosing tubes go for a long while and the one on my calcium doser must have crapped out and it didnt draw any liquid for god knows how long. First sign of it was a dying squamosa clam, tested and my calcium was 310! Save lives, do your maintenance people!

Agree with changing out BRS dosing pump tubing when needed. Having multiple pumps, and coming from the chemical industry where we used tubing like crazy, I sourced the tubing and did a little write-up on this simple DIY.

Wow I wish I had seen this before buying the new ones. Thank you for the awesome write up!
As much as I legitimately can’t stand it I manually test my nano daily and chart all my params in Google Sheets. It really sucks but it’s a useful 15 minutes/day.
I usually test twice or three times a week but this must have happened over thanksgiving, then I was home for two days (and didn't test) and then gone again for another trip. Honestly just bad timing for it to have crapped out...

I have 2 Kamoer Micro dosers. If we have a power blip, it turns them off. If I'm not home when that happens, it may be a day or two before I realize my dosers aren't working! I now make it part of my routine to make sure those things are on!
