Changed my RO unit media for the first time, questions

Today I changed my RODI unit's media for the first time. I refilled the color changing DI resin, changed the carbon filter, and the prefilter. Is there anything special that I need to do, like not use the first batch of water? Any help is appreciated.

Today I changed my RODI unit's media for the first time. I refilled the color changing DI resin, changed the carbon filter, and the prefilter. Is there anything special that I need to do, like not use the first batch of water? Any help is appreciated.

Close off the clean water valve coming out of the DI unit and only run the waste line for 15 mins. Then it should be good to use. This allows the fines from the carbon blocks to be flushed out before hitting the membrane.

Your welcome. When starting it up in the future, back flush the unit for a few minutes before use. Helps keep the membrane clean.
