I was wondering if anybody successfully changed an anemone that was already hosting a pair of clowns with a brand new one? Did your clowns adjust to the new one with out a lot of problems?

My one pair of picasso's I had 5.5 years were hosted by BTA's, Malus, Magnificas, no problem w/ those, but they did refuse a hadonni for 4 months.

Usually once they have been in a host they are quicker to take to a swap, even a non natural.

I originally started w/ several BTA's but I experienced black color loss like some other people did from percs in BTA's, so that was reason for first swap to malu, and later I wanted a natural host match, magnifica, what I have now.

Many people find BTA to be a pain, too much wandering, coral stinging, many have swapped for that reason.

It's more so because of the constant moving from the bta I currently have

That's BTA, swapping to a different color most likely will not change that.

I'd suggest another type of anemone, malu, LTA stay at sand, rarely move, magnifica will stay high up on a perch for max light, natural host for occs/percs
