I have a 90 gal. 24x24x36 cube. I have some soft corals but want to get a clam possibly, maybe some sticks. I have a Current Outer Orbit 36" light. It is stitting on top of my canopy. ;(

It has 4 T5s, 2 MH, 18 LEDs (9 blue lunar, 9 white). The lights are all on separate timers/cords. I have 2 t5's in the canopy too. since the 4 t5s in the current do not all shine in the tank-the hole in the canopy is not big enough. I would love to remove the canopy but I have no way to suspend the light since my ceiling is too high there. It is a heavy fixture.

Anyways, what light/bulb combo do you recommend? I would replace the 4 t5s and the 2 150w MH. I am not sure about spectrum for the MH also, 14k? thanks so much!

And yes, I could just go with LEDs and be done with it.. was slightly considering the kessils. But too $$$$

it you like good balanced color, pleasing light fill in the tank and a lot of color combination possibilities, T5 is the best option (have used LEDs and only use them as actinic supplement. Wihin T5, ATI has some really nice fixture for 24"

Sam.
