Hey guys. Will there be any problems if i change the entire aquascape while my tank is cycling? Not really happy with my current aquascape.

Then more then likely, your resetting the cycle. The bacteria will grow on everything, but the purpose behind the rock is to give more surface area for the bacteria to grow.

As long as the rocks are kept wet, the bacteria will not die.

This is my current scape. Not sure where to add more rocks. Planning on keeping all kinds of corals as I progress. Any ideas on what I should do?

You could use E Marco 400 reef mortar or Aquaforest stone fix to build a structure that will sit on what you already have.

This way you have modular rocks and it’s easier to take apart if you need to take pieces of it out of the water, for pest control, for example.

How well attached is that background? Just thinking could keep the original scape and then secure various rocks and ledges to the back?

ETA: to your original question, starting with new rock may restart the cycle. Adding more rock should not

Very. My LFS used silicone to stick it the the back.

Me personally, I would still likely add more rock (but I like a lot of rock in my tank). However it looks good. I would try for more open caves if it’s possible with the rock you have

Hello my friends. How are you?
I'm new into the hobby and I came across this doubt: should I use MR E-Marco 400 or Aquaforest Stone Fix to aquascape my Marco Rocks Nano Shelf? Here in Brazil E-Marco 400 is more than three times the price of AF Stone Fix, but I'm thinking about the result, not only the price. Is AF Stone Fix as good as Marco Rocks?
Thanks in advance.
Regards!
