changing Lighting from T5 to orphek atlantik V4

hello guys

i'm considering about changing my 8 bulb 39w ATI to LED (especially Orphek Atlantik V4)
cause my ATI work unstably those days

i have some questions about Orphek atlantik if you have or had one

(with 2 ATI actinic 39w Bulb at dusk, just take the shot from my cellphone
to show what it's looks like )

first question is, i'm running my tank with ATI 8 bulb 39w
my tank size is 100cm x 60 cm x 60 cm ( 3 ft 4 in x 2ft x 2ft)

there is 2 model of atlantik v4 as far as i know but i wonder what model of Orphek and
how many of them would be good for my tank considering about things below

1. considering about coverage, i likely to put my corals in the middle of my tank
and they grew up straight to the water surface

2. i'm willing to put more orphek or T5 bulb later but for now i want to put last amount of money
for now (i'm hesitate that LED and Orphek is good enough for me and my coral also never expect my ATI work unstable suddenly)

Why the change?

Looks to me you have mostly Acros centered in the tank and they are doing really really well. Kudos to you bc Acros are very hard to keep happy.

Are you wanting to change bc:
* LEDs are the latest thing and you want to stay technically up to date?
* You want a smaller cleaner looking fuxture?
* You want more flexibility on colors?
* Cost of bulb replacement too costly

If it were me and your current setup was working, I dont know man.... why change up smthg that's working for you.

T5 have a soft light intensity......You go putting LEDs over those Acros and you really have to watch light-burning their tissue bc they are use to T5 lighting.

Sorta like taking a pale Canadian person and suddenly putting them in the Sun on the Equator....LOL

If you do go LED you'll have to really back down ALL CHANNELS to like 10-20% for a month and slowly ramp up over 3-6months.

Acros are FINICKY. They may not do well changing over to LEDs

Your Acros might even CHANGE COLORS. Colors that you dont want. I've seen Acros that are completely healthy turn BROWN bc of unexpected light source change.

So, again....plz answer: Why changing to LED?

cause my ATI quite old.. and it work unstable, blinking sometime and turn off , + it's circit shorted and i don't want anyone get harmed by electricites even i chage some components..it still like that
so i think it's time to let it rest, and..i just wonder how it's going when i got LED light rather then T5 i used to stick on

you know sometime ppl want to have something new when need to buy a thing

and also thanks you for seeing my corals looks good, yes they are healthy and being happy
