Here is an issue I deal with every year.
I have been keeping reefs for almost 20 years now and I am aware that it is recommended to change MH bulbs after about 12 months. But, I am going on 17 months on my 250w Radiums and I am still having great coral growth!
Admittedly, I did finally get the automatic feeder set up 2 months ago and have noticed an increase in growth from that. However, I don't see any reason to replace the MHs yet. Usually I would change them after 12-14 months whether I noticed any degradations in color or not. BTW, I do have a color temperature meter and they still are putting out 20k. I don't have a PAR meter though.
Just thought I would put this out there for discussion or to see what insight others may have.

Well if it is working for you then great! It would be interesting to see what your par readings are right now versus new bulbs.

I would have the extra bulbs on hand but if your still seeing good color from your corals I would leave it. You know the saying ( don't fix what don't need fixing). I would say this maybe one of those times. Lol

I have already purchased replacement bulbs a month ago but haven't installed them yet.
