I have been using Red Sea Pro Salt for my tanks and after a lot of thought I bought Fritz pro salt. My decision was based 90% on the cost.

Since I switched last month I have seen a marked change in several types of corals. Almost all of my acro's started to bleach from the bottom up and my zoa's and poly's are not opening. All of my different LPS corals are fine and all of my Zoa's which are primarily red in color are doing great. Very strange..

This wouldn't have anything to do with me changing salt brands would it??

Switching salts is often a red herring. Do you have the trend of your parameters over the last few weeks?

Impossible to know if the salt affected without a full parameters test including KH, Ca, Mg and Sr. The other possible reasons for bleaching are light intensity and temperature.
