So I know this has been asked before but I am wondering how to go about changing to a new salt? My IO Reef Crystals box is almost up and I've not been happy with the inconsistency between the bags. Thinking about going with a red sea bucket or an aquaforest bucket but idk if I should just do my best regular change with the new salt or what. Also any feedback on a good salt is good.

IMO. The only concern is going to a higher alkalinity if yours is running on the low side.

That said, I'm on IO, run my alk at 8.5 ish and have no problembs.

Hey Evan, another Michigan Man, check out the above link, its always a hot topic with lots of options. Been searching myself, what I see is everyone tries everything and ends up with whatever is the Easiest or cheapest or best currently available locally, but that is MY opinion and you probably know more than me.
good luck!

Evan, is there is a frag swap/show out by you in July ?
