Have decided to change from H2O salt to Red Sea Coral Pro. Rather than have a sudden change I am going to mix the salts for the next two to three water changes to ease the tank into the new salt. Is this a good idea?

I would have to say that depends on how much and how often you change water, if you do a weekly 25 percent change I would mix it (people with nano tanks tend to change alot more then others) but if you are a normal 10 percent every week guy just switch over the change will be slow enough.

When you think about it you are still doing it about 1000 times slower than when you acclimate new corals to tank water ;) 50 percent water change in 30 minutes as opposed to 25 percent in a week.
