Hello all,

I was wanting to change the black background on the REEFER from black to a dark blue. I think it would look really good on the white 525XL I want to get.

Anyone done this? Is it possible?

Thanks!

You should be able to peel the black film right off. However, I think it may look weird with the overflow still being black... it will stick out a lot more on the blue.

is the overflow made out of black acrylic or is it have a film too?

I assume it's glass, but whatever it is it doesn't use a film... it's tinted. Take the overflow cover off, shine a flashlight down in there and then look at it through the front of the tank... it's pretty cool.
