I love my BK Mini 180. It pulls some foul nasty stuff out of my water. The problem is it pulls foul nasty stuff out of my water and STINKS, even when I change my skimmate cup every day!

The skimmer air outflow is through 4 holes in the skimmate cup lid. I can't block these holes, but I was thinking about putting some kind of charcoal pad on the top of the lid to absorb the stink.

Has anyone done this? Does anyone have any recommendations?

It seems like you are developing anaerobic conditions in your collection cup residue. Try skimming wetter.
