Charlotte Area

Hi guys. New to the website and just set up a new reef tank last night after about 8 years out of the hobby. Anybody close willing to sell a few scoops of sand out of your tank to seed my new tank. I found some live rock to seed mine but would love to find some sand to seed my sandbed. I can get by with the seed rock, but would love the worms, etc. that come from an established sandbed. I am about an hour east of charlotte. Thanks

Welcome!!

If only you posted yesterday. I removed my refugium and dumped about 3 gallons of live sand in my backyard yesterday.

Looking to add a few corals. If you have some for sale around Charlotte let me know. I am about an hour east.

Does anyone have an Apogee PAR meter I could borrow for an hour or so to test against my Seneye? My Seneye is throwing out very high numbers and i need to verify it is correct.

Josh thanks for the corals. They are doing great in their new home. Great to meet you.

No problem at all. That is great to hear! Good to meet you as well! Would love to see some pictures when they get settled in.

Already had to trim up some of the gsp I got from jcole a few weeks back. Glued about 9 pieces on small rocks last night. Will trade for about any coral or sell cheap if you need some. Will get pics later today. This is the mother colony.

I have a hanna phosphate and a hanna calcium checker for sale. Reagents are new and good. The phosphate checker has 18/25 tests left and the calcium checker has 21/26 tests left. Will take $60 for both.

It does. Never noticed it. It was the seed rock I bought from nemos a few months ago. Even came with a nice red mushroom that popped up a couple weeks after I put it in.

Picked up some zoas and a neon toadstool in Charleston. Love the zoas. Anyone got any for sale or trade near Charlotte?

I am going bare bottom on my tank. Please let me know if anyone wants 20lbs of Fiji pink sand that I would siphon out this weekend. The tank is only 4 months old and the sand was in it for only 2 months.

I got a few I could get rid of. Got candy cane I just fragged a few off yesterday. Got a 4 head Duncan I don’t like that I would sell. Located in polkton.
