Charro in sump

I’m gonna try this again, I bought some chateo placed it in my sump, sump is a Fuji cube 24 it has a section “designed” for this but when I put the chateo in it it is being drawn into the return section which is right behind it and it just got sucked up and went bye bye just ordered more on BRS.. any ideas on how to keep it from being pulled into the return section, section before it houses the skimmer, thought about some type of a screen but don’t know if that’s a good idea, thanks

Yeah people use mesh. Plastic might be better since it won't rust. You could also attach the chaeto to a rock or something and it won't float away.

I took a section of egg crate and wrapped it in material for window screens. Kept the chaeto in just fine.

Too bad the chaeto didn't grow though, and I just ended up making myself a REALLY hard to service ATS.
