Chattanooga Fish Stores

Hi. I have a quick question. For Mother's Day, Tim wanted to take me to two different fish stores in Chattanooga as a surprise. He got called back out today at lunch, and won't be here Sunday. He told me to go to Bermuda Triangle and Fish Mania. He had already called and made sure both places were open. My question is, are they both worthwhile? Have you guys had any experience with either? Fish healthy? I always buy my fish from Liveaquaria and was going to place an order tonight, but he asked me to "wait till next week". Then, while he was on the road, he called and told me his plans for Sunday.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I have been to Bermuda Triangle a few times to just stop by. Kind of a cool store but their prices seemed way high. Also they have a couple of display/holding tanks that have nice stuff but not for sale. I would still say it is worth a stop. Let us know what you think.

Never been to either, but for the cost of gas to/from Chattanooga, you'd probably pay for LA shipping (or put it towards the cost of reaching free shipping). Just something to consider.

I've been to Bermuda Triangle a couple of times. They have some nice stuff but as has already been mentioned, the prices are very high. Nowadays I visit LFSs strictly for entertainment. I buy everything on-line.

I wondered the same thing! I am so proud I asked first before driving up.

H@rry, I do the same thing around here. Last weekend I saw lots of tanks filled with ich laden fish. I don't see how some stay in business??

I think the Bermuda Triangle is a great store to stop by when I am in the area and either have time to kill or just need to stretch my legs after a long ride. They have some beautiful livestock, the entire store is very pleasing to the eye and the staff actually seems quite knowledgeable. I admire the fish and corals, shake my head about the crazy prices and get back in the car and come home. I have been there four or five times and never spent a dime but if I were to own a store I would be happy if it looked like the triangle does.
