What would you all recommend for a cheap Nano ato. I’ve looked at the tunze but I don’t want to spend that much more like $60-$75
 
Aquahub is another option....and just hook it up with a Tom's Aqualifter and an outlet box.
 
Build one. That is what I did. Two float switches, 2 relays, an old dc adapter and a small pump. Mine was under $20 but I did have some acrylic laying around I used for the bracket. My tanks uses over a gallon a day. It has been running over a year with no problems. If interested I can send a parts list.
 
If you do wish to build, HERE's an idea. And it might be easier to use CPVC pipe to protect the float switches as shown HERE.
