I’m looking for suggestions for a new/used coral qt light. I have a tiny 5 gal tank that I want to use to qt corals in for up to a month and I want to keep sps in it, so I was looking for something that can push 200-300 par down 6-8” onto a 6”x6” square. Any suggestions for something that is or was (used) out that has a mount in the 60-80 price range?

Take a look at the Pixie 30 from Lominie.

I have used the smaller version (Asta 20) and was impressed with the color blending and PAR from them. The Pixie 30 is the higher power version is far more powerful and should easily provide the PAR you need. The mount may be setup for a rimless tank, but you can easily fill the gap of a rimmed tank with some clear acrylic or in my case (don't laugh) drinking water bottle caps.

Do you know if there is a timer out there that is compatible with the pixie 30?
