Hey guys,

I might get a 60l/15g nano tank that i might turn into a small saltwatertank. I plan on keeping it simple as my younger brother might care for it with me together. Thing is im on a tight budget. As we would like to keep some corals we need a decent lighting.
Id like to use something offbrand thats cheap. Ideally i was hoping for something under 50-100$

Also im from europe so im better off with buying advice than actual links as i cant get the same stuff here that u guys from the us can get.

Hipargero aqua knight goes for 60$ in the us and will give you enough par. I've never used it but I have heard good things for it as a cheap nano light

I found this for 100€

I don't know how local prices are for you in country with the bigger brands, but I don't think id spent 100 on it myself

I think with these off brand products some get imported on inefficient ways and the prices go up. I found a similar light thats some other chinese sounding brand that looks similar for 60€ .

I don't know anything about this light but I would give it a try if I had a 10g-15g

This light would be more then enough for lps/sps

I’m using hipargero aqua knight works great, have white on lowest setting and blues on 6th of 9 intensities. There isn’t any way to automate it though so I just turn the blues down every few hours when I walk by to slowly fade out mostly cause I like the different looks but maybe it’s good for the corals. The mount is pretty weird though eventually gonna suspend it cause it’s really close to water

Looks like the same light. I honestly don't know how well that would do with a 15g I would pick the bottom light over the top light

I tried the Lumini pixie, sent it back the same day i received it the colour was just nasty, it did not make any of the corals pop in the slightest even with the blue channels on full

Zetlight might be worth looking into as another cheap option
