This one is on sale for $37.49 right now, plus you get free shipping if you spend over $50: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petco...gitarium-brooklyn-metal-tank-stand-29-gallons

It holds a 29 gal (or 20 long) on top, 20 tall on bottom. I cut 1/2" plywood tops and sealed them (pic below), to more evenly distribute the weight and also protect the metal stand somewhat from SW. Petco also sells the same stand for 10 gals, 40 breeders, etc.

F&S also sells them for the same price:

I haven't bought this one yet, but I am ordering 2-3 of these today: https://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3730+3732+9883&pcatid=9883

The advantage of that stand is it is built so you can fit a 29 gal and/or 20 long on TOP AND BOTTOM (as seen in the pic on the website).

Both options tie-in nicely with Petco's $ per gal sale, which ends this Saturday 2/3. :)

I had one of those for a ten gallon from Petco and I took it back because it was so rickety.

It looks like your flooring situation is a bit better though and mine probably didn't agree with my carpeting. I also imagine having some weight on the bottom will help as well.

What my dt is on cause i was too lazy when updating to build a stand lol. Cut three pieces of thin ply wood that attach by magnets to hide the sump. All told additional $20 if have a table-saw and paint lying around.

I use one for my quarantine 40 gallon breeder. They are perfectly fine for the price. It's not like they are holding up that much weight. I've scooted mine across the room full of water by myself.

That is a 20 long on the bottom also.

I had one for a ten gallon tank and it can very easily be toppled over. Worst stand I have ever seen. Sent it back.

The 20-40 gallon versions must be more stable due to the width & weight of the tanks.
