I am a new reefer and am looking for some cheap coral? Any one have any websites?

Aquasd has great prices and reasonable shipping ($30). Maria Coral Reef has excellent prices on mostly zoas (but a few LPS and SPS) but shipping is a little more expensive ($45). Corals.com has fair prices (but try to wait for a sale) and large, well-healed frags and colonies, with $25 shipping, free at $150. Those three are the main ones I order from.

the cheapest coral is on your local classifieds, sometimes you can even find people giving frags away for free just because they need to trim the colony, and prefer to offer it for free instead of throwing it in garbage. I give em away for free sometimes, or else just $5-$10.

Even with higher priced shipping from a forum user who doesn’t have the lower rates a business would get, you can get some amazing deals here on R2R

Your lfs will likely have a section for cheaper coral, but I’ll mention that price is directly correlated with how good it looks - a high end coral will almost never be cheap.
