Dsuny 29” led light fixture
I really haven’t seen many reviews for this light even though the price point for what you get seems to be almost to good to be true.
So I’m going to post the journey of my young system with this light.
The price I got it for is what it would usually cost to buy a mounting kit for mid tier to higher quality lights.
I’m going to post pictures weekly showing the growth of some lps corals and a recovering anemone. Other corals will be added slowly as time passes. Hopefully this light can actually grow coral.

If you are happy I am happy. I copped out and went back to MH/T-5 for the next tank. Mostly because when I started that is what I wanted and never had.

Did you try this light or light brand before? If you did what was your experience?

Can pick up a cheap lux meter throw in a zip lock bag. Take a reading on max setting from 3 (top middle, bottom)points in tank. Divide each by 60 will give you rough idea how much par each section is getting and if enough par for why you want there [emoji4]

Are you able to post a link of something that could work and is cheap? Would be something that could benefit a lot of reefers.

Something that would help out to would be that I have a standard 65 gallon tank 36”18”24”
Everything is being placed at around 18-20in in the tank except for the anemone at 12in.
I am using the lunar cycle setting to which has channel 2 at 22% currently for the last 2 days

This is the anemone at 10:45pm into the lunar cycle

I got the meter. Tough to read, but think I'm like 1500+ at bottom of my tank.

that lunar cycle is doing something the anemone is looking great. Also this tiny Duncan coral that’s been closed for weeks now is finally starting to open back up.

What am I looking at besides octo face down in sand? Feather dusters?
