Cheapest camera I can get by with?

Everyone who already has a Nikon dslr and looking for a different lens to try out. Thephotoforum.com has a thing they do where someone buys a cheap decent lens and it goes across America. So you give the OP your info and you are put into a list and once it's your turn the lens gets shipped to you and you could try out the lens for a week. To just take random shots wherever you want. And everyone shares a couple shots they took with that lens. Then once the week is over you send the lens to another member.

Just nite that DSLRs will have a learning curve to them and honestly will take some skills to get great shots just out of the camera. Might be just easier to go with a point and shoot.
Now if youre in for some reading, trial and error then definitely go for a DSLR. At that price definitely go for a used camera and stock lense which will be way better than any phone camera and most point and shoots, then slowly start adding lenses you want/need. After few months if you see photography is something you like and think that the body you have is limiting then upgrade and add other stuff as tripod and flash.
I still dont have a macro lense but with some effort have some very good shots that i couldnt even get close to with a macro lense

If you can still find a Canon XTi body only or any old Rebel model for cheap then get used Macro lens with that.

So where do I go for the short and sweet do this..... 2 start taking pictures? Lol.

What's the thoughts on the tamaron 90 mm macro lens? Seems reasonably-priced? Idk
