Cheapest underwater HD compact camera?

I tried one of the 'Action Cam' versions that are all over Amazon. Terrible quality and a pain to use.

How's the Nikon cool pic aw100
Compared to the Akaso ek7000
And used go pro etc?

I got someone selling aw100 for $70.

Dunno if it's worth since pics aren't great, videos ok....

Maybe not cheapest but best - Olympus Tough serie - 4 or 5 is actual at the moment

I don't know anything about go pro...
Is there anything better than this for clarity, high def,4k etc under $500?

Or is this bang for the buck to take coral pics /vid in DT under water?
