Cheapest Zoas

IMO it all depends on the zoas frags your looking for!...there are some facebook groups where i have seen some good deals recently.

Being in Phoenix you'd think they're be lots of locals with the best deals? Are you on a local forum as well?
Also if you post in the "wanted to buy" section and ask if anyone from your area has any cheap zoas for sale.

Yeah but our locals either over price or it's pretty low quality. Only 1 quality store in my immediate area

What do you consider overpriced? Broad area there - 5,10,15,20$? I know many peeps that dont want to spend more than 5$ and think anything above is overpriced. I call that cheap in both directions lol
If ya cant find good deals from local hobbiests might need to meet a few more - is there a local club there? Always seems to be a good group of folks in them willing to cut great deals. Something to check out.

Several of my lfs's have frags for $15 to $20. They often have small rocks with colonies of zoa's and sometime palys for that price. Nothing in the way of high end polyps but you can find some nicely colored zoa's if you only want something to fill in the bottom of the tank with a little color. My personal sentiment is that the cheaper polyps are usually the sturdiest and something beginners should always start with. Not to mention I've yet to see a mature colony of even the cheapest zoa's not look impressive when you see hundreds of polyps all open and feeding.

Yeah there is frag which is a group here but. I'm looking for a wide variety of frags high end to low end 5-20pp. I just want to see variety usually when the stores here get it they keep it as a colony and want a few hundred bucks for it.

@AquaSD Will has awesome deals on beautiful zoas n palys. He has a sale on here every weekend. You should look at some of his past sales on here. We've always been very happy dealing with Will he's a great guy n takes care of customers.

The LFS I go to has small zoa frags with around 10-15 polyps on them starting off at 15 bucks. The larger clusters with many more polyps go for 65 and up. But then, those larger clusters usually come attached to a nice size chunk of live rock which can get pricey on its own.

You should hit up Ben from BSA Corals. He is local to you. He has good prices.

There's a lot of vendors here with great cheap stuff. Send them a message and tell them how much you want to spend and they will make you a great package. I've bought from wwc, zoanthids.com, planet zoa, aqua sd, cherry corals and a bunch more and they will work with you. The quality of the zoas you get here cannot compare with anywhere else especially facebook lol
