How quickly did this happen since you bought it? What is the nitrate and phosphate levels? Do you dose trace elements?

Not enough or too strong of light. How many hours you keep the light for the cheato? What is the nitrate and phosphate level? They all need to be consider. Then iron and potassium dosing according to above level.

Well my phosphate randomly dissappeared together with my nitrate. Now my nitrate is normal again but not phosphate

From 9 am to 9 pm. Nitrate is 8 while phosphate is 0.0.

That is long hour of lighting for any maroalage until they settle in and get use to your light . I would start cutting down to 5 hrs a day and every week add 20 mins to it. Also you have to up the phosphate level. While nitrate is 8 and phosphate is 0, you will have a hard time keeping any macroalage or coral . I will dosing very little amout of phosphate over a week to bring up the phosphate to about 0.04. Skip the dosing of iron for now. Just watch how the cheato doing first. Don't expect anything will happen overnight. It take weeks to see the good result

What can happen is that they chaeto drains both (or some other export method), but now that it's dying/dea or limited by phosphate and/or nitrate, the non limited one will increase
