Cheato dipping

wondering is it safe if I take my new cheato and dip it in Scheam reef dip with out killing it? I just want to make sure there is no hidden pests in the cheato. If anyone has done this can you please let me know.

Yup. FW, flatworm exit, and probably Bayer. Bayer may be absorbed as might the fwe. Most of the other dips are formulated to kill algaes and bugs.

I just received chaeto a bit ago. I dip mine. Bayer/coral Rx mixed in salt water. I just dump a bunch in. Looks like milk, smells like coral RX. I let it sit for 20 minutes. I rinse and kneed it out. My copepods are all through it so I don't think the bayer is an issue. No issues with the tanks.
