my cheato does not grow what so ever and water is still not clear after tons of water changes tank is 4 months old and have a big algae bloom

Dude your tank is still pretty new and is going through stages. Keep doing your weekly water changes and it’ll even out. You also don’t want to over feed a new tank that doesn’t have bacteria established.

bacteria I have added 2 bottles of fitz turbo when I started the tank first time I came across this no growth in Cheato in my other tanks never used it straight sump with 20 lbs of lava rock

You probably don’t need it if you have better ways to filter out nitrates. I use mine for stability in nutrients and PH at night. It’s mostly likely not growing because of your algae bloom sucking up all the nutrients.

my Cheato always died so went without but my water was a clear as a bell within a month so far 4 months ans still foggy mind you this is the first time I went dry rock for no pests

Ya my CUC sucks they are not doing their jobs need some more turbo snails

Yea it sounds like it’s still just new and using new rock makes that process longer.
