Cheato Light Schedule Test Project

Chaeto will bottom out N & P results can be pale colors, Dino, cyano,.... people are not adding stumpkiller for fun

Chaeto is no different than coral they have requirements and good things happen or not good things can happen

I have had more problems with low nutrient levels than high levels so maintain ideal levels all good, let it bottom bad things happen

+1 but I also use the fuge photoperiod as a way of combating rising nutrients in that we can always change this to our systems needs. Once your system is mature enough to feed it, I just find it a matter of whether you need it 24/7 or not. Right now I'm seeing a spike in Nitrates so along with other husbandries I change my fuge to 24/7 and then it will slowly come back down to alternating as I reach the levels I want.

We run our 'fuge light (Kessil H80) 22 hrs / day. We have chaeto and caleurpa. Growth has been slow. On the advice of R2R, we're dosing iron 2x per week, but just started late last week.
