Cheato Longer Vs Shorter Light Schedule.

Alright Im about to start running a Cheato DYI Reactor , Here the question does a longer lighting cycle generate more nutrient consumption vs a shorter light schedule. My goal is not to run a zero nitrates Im aiming for about 5-10 ppm but not sure if i achieve this by possible running the lights for example 5 hour vs 10 hours or Cheato grow regardless of light?

Generally the longer the lights are on the more nutrients it will adsorb however if on too long it may get burnt
