Has anyone tried this supplement? I bought it a month ago and my macro stopped turning white on me. I see so many posts on here about cheato dying, just looking for others experiences. Thanks

I've had trouble with my chaeto going white but that stopped and growth improved when I started dosing iron (Brightwell Ferrion), so I think iron was the limiting factor for me. It's hard to say but you might see equally good results by just dosing iron as compared to ChaetoGro (and it might be a bit cheaper).

Besides iron, I am not sure what other trace elements might be important limiting factors for chaeto growth, but looks to me like a lot of the elements they list on the label are stuff that is pretty much guaranteed to be in high enough concentrations anyway, in a saltwater tank with decent water.

I tried iron by itself and still didn’t make much of a difference . Just Trying to see if anyone else has tried this product and their experiences.

The main limiting trace elements for chaeto tend to be Molybdenum, Iron, and Manganese. If you have been growing A LOT of chaeto, you will need to check potassium, but if you have been doing water changes, this tends to get replaced. I'm always weary of dosing elements you can't measure.
