Just checking in my params.

Cal 500
Mag 1400-1200
Alk 8.4/7

It's a little hard to tell with red sea test kits when the color change is where it's supposed to be. Meaning if it's right when it turns blue/red or when it's a full color. Not having any issues with growth, running reef breeder 32inch LEDs, 55 gallon mixed reef, two mp10W, mag 5 10 gallon sump with a massive fudge. I have a skimmer it's meh, I'd like to get to the point where I can remove it and go all natural with a bigger fudge.

You calcium is high; should be 380-450. Don't know why you have two different numbers for the alk and mag?Marinedepot.com | Reef Tank Parameters With Red Sea test kits you watch closely for the first change in color and that's where you take the reading.

I keep mine at
alk 7.5
cal 420
mg 1350
sg 1.025
this is what I do but your levels look fine
as well your within a good range it's all about keeping it stable

Alk: 8.4
Mag: 1200

Thank you for posting those red sea videos very helpful.

I am running Kalk in my ato and it have kept everything stable, My saltmix is red reef coral pro mix love that stuff, mixes so fast great results. Trying to keep up with water changes doing 15% twice a month about 10 gallons out of my 55.

Those levels are good except I'd raise your magnesium.
