Check my thinking; Lugol's for small volume (1/2 drop)

I have a nano with about 11g actual volume. Based on recommended dosing per Kent's Lugols it suggests one drop per 25g. So, if I wanted to half that could I add one drop to one cup of water and then only add 1/2 cup to tank? Wouldn't this essentially be giving me half the dose?

I’m no mathematician, but that seems about right to me
