Finally got a picture that kinda shows the beauty of this monti. It still looks better in person. It's growing like a cap, but when I got it, the person told me was an encrusting monti. Starts red/orange/yellow. Has a white rim. and blue polyps. yes blue polyps!
Here's a couple pics. You can see the colors are diffarent in each as I'm still trying to learn how to use my camera.

and my oregon tort...which is still sooooo much bluer than this!

no the first picture wasn't photoshopped at all as I don't even know how to use that program let alone my camera...thats seriuosly how amazing it looks in tank...actually it looks better!

Pretty sure I have the same monti. Think it is a m. cubensis. Where did you get yours? Mine came from Rommel at Ultimate.

very interesting, really nice piece. your doing a good job with the pics too.

thanks for the compliments and rob...it came from a guy local that moved up to west palm area. forget his name but i wanna say jarod? tiny little frag like 1/2" x 1/2" over a year ago. slow grower.

Great looking piece!

the only cebuensis ive seen is from atlantis and its red but it does look very similar
i had a piece of that too and it was deffinately plating, real thick and large nodules

I would move those other corals as you monti will wrap around them and they will be toast. I am only stating this due to expereince.
