I think the most memorable aspect of my system is the absurd volume of comically lengthy cables that run up, down, inside, outside, under, over, through, next to, and behind the tank.

Know what's cooler than a probes for pH, Temp, ORP, Salinity, and Par Meter? The 80 feet of cable that you get to manage.

MP40, 15 feet of cable to find a power supply AND 8 feet of cable to connects the controller to the dry side. If you love products with excessively long cables like me...get 4 of these.

My corals never really got bigger, but my cable collection....let me tell you something. I have wires from Germany, China, the USA and they're all different thicknesses and unsolicitedly long.

I'm probably going to frag some of my cables soon, and will def sell them in the R2R marketplace if I can.

One time it took me 3 days to unplug my skimmer so I could clean it.

Nikolai Tesla invented wireless electricity a long long time ago.
I’ve heard of this. Even phones can be charged wirelessly. It’s only a matter of time. I’m just worried the air might electrocute me

Yes I’m sure in time wires will be the thing of the past, with things like the Amazon Alexa speaker, that now you can activate other devices to switch on or off. I’ve recently got my self a couple of smart plugs, one I’ve connected to the plug of my return Pump, so every time I won’t the return Pump to switch off without kneeling down scrambling around my units to switch it off manually, I ask Alexa, how good is that!. Comes in handy when feeding the fish. The other one controls by living room lamp on and off.

I picked up a pack of different colored electrical tape, plan is to use the same color from plug to device. I always seem to unplug the wrong one.

this stuff is your friend....
I love it

I love the look of clean setups where people have cables routed with conduit or has wire tacks every 6in of cable. I looks great....until you need to service a piece of equipment!

These server/wire racks are a great alternative! will definitely be using them on my next build.

I always thought that success in reefing is directly proportional to the amount of cords, surge protectors, and little LED indicator lights you have under your display. If that's the case, I should be a master by now! ;Facepalm

Funny part about raceways is that as an industrial electrician we would remove all the covers on the new machines.
Coralvue’s new wavecontroller is a nice way of controlling the wires.
