I didnt even know corals could do this?

Not sure what this coral is, but I bought it about 6 months ago when it was about 1/2 in diameter for $5 Now. Not only has it almost tripled in size. It split?! If this one grows like the first it will cover my rock by christmas!

Is that a "hairy mushroom"? Those guys can put some serious coverage on your rock!

Ahh yes it is. Brown and green. And they are ATTATCHED to that rock. I tried to pick the small piece up to move it to the other side of the rock and it was not having any of it
