I was driving up the drive-way to town towards town on our ranch when I noticed this dead deer hung up on the barb wire fence. It didn't look shot and its not hunting season but it's back legs were all cut up like it was struggling to get off the fence and there were a lot of pawing marks on the ground where the front legs were struggling. I think it was weak and dying from old age and couldn't quite make it over the fence, got hung-up, and just died there. Monday I'll make a call to the Fish and Game for them to come and get it I guess. I don't know what else to do with it, we've had wild turkeys die on our place and one of our horses got into poison gopher bait and killed it but we've never dealt with a dead deer.
