Can someone tell me what this anemone is? It came on a rock as a hitch hiker probably a 1/2" long. Thought it may have been aiptasia but look at what it blossomed into.

In person it is absolutely stunning with the texture on its tenticles. This is in my buddies tank and i want to know what it is so i can find one!

Nice, I've never seen one in person. I bet they're pretty neat.

I had one as a hitchhiker. It thrived and then for no reason died after wandering off :(

Mine was no where near as spectacular.

+1 on curlique. I see them here in florida under ledges alot. Anemone shrimp are always on them

That is exactly how my buddy got it. We are in Ohio but he brought a rock back with him from florida and that anemone was on it.

What do you mean how he does? He's had it for 5-6 years.

I wonder how these reproduce?

I really like these, not so much for their colors because of how they have the texture on their tentacles. It's amazing. If you google them they are very cheap, around $10, and are considered a beginner coral. Not sure why since they are not reef safe.
