Went to LFS, they had this...I've never seen such a vibrant mushroom, let alone super highlighter pink with yellow specks and purple streaks. I couldn't get a great pic, and the pics do it no justice! Anyone know the name of this shroom?

It looks a bit bleached and it is most likely being stung to death by the bubble coral behind it. It is crazy though, I've never seen one like it!

Not bleached in the slightest, probably my phone tbh, ill go back on Tuesday and get high definition video. It was put in that tank an hour before that photo so no coral warfare. It's so vibrantly pink with extreme sour yellow/ green specks and purple streaks. It will be much better acclimated when I go back, with its price tag, I assume it's not going anywhere soon.

Anyone ? Is there a designer name to this shroom? I will get better pictures and a short video of it on Tuesday.

So being a noob can someone tell me if corals like this (with such vibrant color) exist in the wild or has this been created? I know corals have a lot of color but I've been seeing pics on here that just seem crazy colorful (unnaturally so). Don't get me wrong, they're stunning but they almost look fake.

The sea has some of the prettiest colors of coral period, not to say aquacultured coral doesn't have crazy colors...it's just we're creating a very blue spectrum in our aquariums, where's in the ocean it's more of a white spectrum ( natural color ) so you don't see the color pop from the high amount of blues and uv light!

Thank you for this! Let's hope mother nature is able to keep those beautiful colors for millions of more years. Climate change seems to be making everything an awful white color!
