Check these out for frag tanks!!!

I think for a frag tank no its a bad idea. But I just bought two (when I opened this thread) thanks, I will use it for when I get new pieces to acclimate or when I want to clean my frag tnak Ill put them in there to hold. Its so funny I have been looking for somthign like this for a while. GF hates when I steel and use her pyrex lol

Those would be good for acclimation and iodine dips for newly fragged LPS......Thanks for the link!

Yea they seem nice, solid 1 piece build, plus food safe. I only want to do a small frag tank so i might check one out. I'm thinking this one Shallow Tray 4 3/4 Gallon 17-1/2 x 15-1/2 x 5 .

How are you goign to plumb it? I just picked up a rimless 24x24x12 from my LFS for 110 bucks brand new to make a Sexy nem and nemo tank for the GF. The downside to those it its only 2,3,4 inches tall so you need to have that light sweet spoted perfecly to get the right par int there for what you want to keep. Also it better be plumbed into you main system therer only like 3-5 gallons.

That is the exact one I was looking at for the acclimation/healing tank! I don't see why it wouldn't work for a frag tank other than you can only view it top down.....keep us posted, I'm sure it will be a cool project!

I plan on plumbing it into my display, so it will be easy to drill for bulkheads. Im limited on space so im just going to put it on a small stand next to my display. Have the main flow into the frag and then down into my sump. Then toss a couple LED spot lights over top. Make a short rack, maybe 2" from the bottom of the pan. Then being that it is so shallow lighting wont even be an issue.
