While in LA last week I did some cherry picking of some zoanthids and noticed several of these huge polyps on this one zoa rock. I dont think thay are mojano, but any thoughts. They are larger than a quarter in size and really nice looking.

We have a few things like them. We believe that they are colonial anemones. They really dont move too much though, we have some with brown skirts and bright green in center. They are cool but they pack a sting!

Maybe mojanos in the making? hehe I've seen similar anemones come in on zoo rocks in the past. They don't usually amount to much. But you could always isolate them, see if they hold their color/don't turn pesty, and then sell them for a fortune as miniature rock anemones or something. ;]

I dont care what they are there sick.
