So i found out this morning using a flashlight this crab that was on my acro....i saw it eating the tips......and i believe this is the cause of why only 1 or2 of my acros were starting to RTN or have symptoms of an alk burn.........So i had to make a decision........leave him and try to close any gaps in the rocks so that he couldnt come out........or remove all my rocks and reaquascape while removing the crab........and so i did that...........the guy is 5-6" inches in length and about 3-4" wide..........he was a huge sucker

Holy crap dude, that's a big crab to stay hidden this long! Can you take a pic next to something else for size reference?

Wow, what are you going to do with it now?
Since its been snacking on your corals maybe you should boil it, cook it and feed it back to the coral!!!

JEBUS!!, lol @ crabzilla, I have an emerald crab I have been calling "Kong" for about a year, his claws are huge, but nowhere near as big as zilla!!!!
He stands on the reef and waves his monster claws at the fish when they get close, never runs away though.

i believe that is called a gorilla crab and im not joking. have one in my system but he hasn't done anything. tried to get him out numerous times with no luck.

I used to find those all the time at the LFS I worked at a while back. FHI stuff always had em.
