It reminds of the unnamed Paradise Coral Palys that were released a few years ago. To my knowledge, none that were sold survived, including the 3 polyps that I got. That is a nice paly Mike, save me one!

will do, but for some reason it seems like my polyps take for ever to grow. Maybe it is because i look at em everyday.

I am curious, what lighting is that pic under? Does it have a different look with just actinics on? Can you set your camera to white balance 9900K? It will help with color vs the blue lighting.

i have weird growth also. sometimes its explosive and sometimes its like nothing at all. its really hard to tell the actual color of those

Thats how it works, haha. When you have something you really want to grow, it never does. But when you get in the common zoa for just some color, and don't pay attention to it, it'll cover the whole rock before you know it. Like everything else in this hobby, patience is a virtue.
