Check valve for vinyl tubing?

Hello!

I have been having a tough time finding a check valve I can splice into some vinyl tubing - I am assuming it'd have to be barb on both ends to work. Anyone run into one of these in your travels? I found some out there on boating websites but I'm not sure if they are reef safe.

Goal here is to prevent back-syphon from the return outlets should the pump fail

BRS has check valves in numerous sizes.

You may have to buy one with slip or thread ends and add your own appropriately sized barb.

It seems like your questions has already been answered, but my recommendation would be to somehow get your setup to where you don't need a check valve. It will eventually fail and that could cause a flood.

Unless you are just using it as a failsafe then just ignore me.

Yeah, it's just there so my pump outlets don't drain the tank when the pump turns off. I have a valve in there that I can close off during maintenance but I want something for if the power goes out

I just drilled a small anti siphon hole in my pump outlet to break a siphon in case of the pumps turning off. I don't know if that would work for your setup just something to consider.
