Hi,
I am designing an automatic water change system using Apex DOS system. My DOS will be located in the basement, so there is a risk of water loss via siphon. I have seen a lot of suggestions to use SV-1 Solenoid Valve to prevent siphoning. From reviews, it appears that the solenoid valve is not very reliable and the Neptune systems themselves do not recomend using it on saltwater.
Would it be easier and more relaible to use One Way Check Valve for RO systems instead?
Thank you
