Checking Magnesium

I have been checking my calcium and alkalinity with Hanna checkers. I would very rarely check my magnesium, as it never changed. I vaguely remember someone telling me if my calcium and alkalinity were in good range then so would be the magnesium. It always seemed that way. But now that I am getting into more SPS I want to get more consistent with testing. If I am testing ALK and Calcium do I still need to check Mag? Does Hanna make a Magnesium checker for reef aquariums?

With water changes and most two part dosing , you’re generally getting enough mag.

Some tanks do seem to use more than others.
