Checking water parameters from phone

Is there something that I can put on my tank so I can check my water parameters etc. from my phone? Say while I’m at work or going out or doing whatever.

YES, but that's way above my pay grade. Someone else will have to chime in but I believe you'd need a trident or something like that type system setup. I know Reefbot will do it for sure. I SEEN'D IT. lol. Good luck!

what params are you looking for? Apex for temp/salinity/ph/orp + trident for Calc/Alk/Mag. ReefBot for a host of others. Seneye for PAR (maybe)?

I was reading on seneye because it’s actually affordable and it didn’t have the best reviews…..do you know anyone that has it or do you have experience with it?

No experience sorry. Local LFS has it. The owner uses it for PAR measuring. The slides cost a lot imho, and the owner didnt want to spend money on that. Its worth it for PAR measuring alone. Even if its a few points off, its still great to know where the light intensity is in general. For him its worth it cause an LFS has lots of tanks. For me? meh i've run my tanks for 7 years now. I only test temp and salinity at this point. YMMV

if i really wanted to stay on top of my params I would buy an alkatronic, make my own testing solution (plenty of examples online) and use ATI Essentials Pro to supplement. just my 2 cents

Yeah unfortunately with covid its now a pita to get a lot of things.
