Chelated copper and Ionic copper

I have been dosing cupermarine forever in my QT, and I am receiving a few fish that won't tolerate ionic copper. I was wondering what I should do before dosing coppersafe (chelated copper)

Like what treatments before coppersafe, or what to do to get the cupramine out of the qt system?

@Humblefish or a #mods could maybe move this to fish disease and treatment to get more eyes..

Should I get the viper Marine out before treatment? If so, how?
